How to downgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate to Professional or Home Premium?
I hope this tutorial will help for those who wants to downgrade from your Windows 7 Ultimate to Professional or Home Premium. Normally this option is not possible. We are going to do a small hack in registry to allow the downgrade option.

* Open the Registry Editor and locate the following path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

and change the data of "EditionID" and "ProductName" like below
EditionID : Ultimate ------->Professional or HOMEPREMIUM
ProductName: Windows 7 Ultimate  ---------> Windows 7 Professional (or) Windows 7 HOMEPREMIUM

* For downgrading do not boot from Windows 7 installation DVD.

* Boot to your running windows desktop and start the installation from DVD by running "setup.exe". While configuring you will be asked two options "Upgrade" or "Custom". Click Upgrade option and it will start the progress.

* After successful downgrading, You can see your downgraded Windows Home Premium or Professional.

    It is nice information for Downgrading from Windows 7. One must give a chance to 25dollarsupport its a Fix $25 price Computer Tech support company, which is the best option in present crowded market. Quite dependable and cost effective..
